Your Feet
The human foot is an extraordinary complex mechanism consisting of 25% of the bones in your body, held in position by many ligaments, tendons and muscles. They all synchronize their actions to provide a single step. We take this movement at a staggering 4,000-10,000 times a day, over a variety of terrains. In an average life time our feet will travel between 240,000 and 320,000 kilometers. That's six time around the world.
Professional Treatment
Feet are among the most abused and least honored parts of our bodies. We stuff them into unnatural positions in fashionable, but inappropriate shoes. Overload them beyond their capacity and pay attention to them only when they hurt. Most of the time, we simply take for granted these amazing examples of bodily architecture. It is not surprising that on occasion our feet ache. When and if they do, consider consulting with a Chiropodist.
